KEEP SHOOTING

Earl Nightingale said, “A young man once asked a great and famous older man, ‘How can I make a name for myself and become successful? The great famous older man replied: ‘You have only to decide upon what it is you want and then stay with it, never deviating from your course no matter how long it takes, or how rough the road, until you have accomplished it”. Now that is wisdom.

Losers are potential winners who quit too soon and winners are losers who refuse to quit until they succeed. Many of those who achieved extraordinary success are not necessarily men with extraordinary ability. They are men with extraordinary persistence. Success takes time. John Mason once said, “Overnight success takes about ten years”. You see, there is always a time lapse between seed time and harvest.

You must keep on keeping on because in due time, you will reap the fruit of your dream seed. It was Christopher Morley that said, “Big shots are only little shots that kept shooting”. So today, keep shooting. You will succeed. Stick to your assignment like a postage stamp on an envelop, until you get to your destination.You will succeed if you do not give up.

THE DIGNITY OF LABOUR

“There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing; and one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches”

Solomon the wisest king that ever ruled a nation admonishes us that “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches”. Today, we live in a world that encourages us to impress people even to our own discomfort. A world of people who pretends to be rich but are not rich. A world of people who struggle to rake in money just so they can appear on the page of celebrity magazines but they are spiritually poor. It is better for people to think you are poor while in actual fact you are having a swell time, enjoying yourself, than for you to be suffering all by yourself and yet people think you are rich.

Some people do not value the dignity of labour. Young people do not want offer service or sell products, but want to make money quick and live on the fast lane. We need a change in our thinking and we must be willing to put in the required effort to turn our dreams into reality. Then we MUST give our effort time to bear fruit. Whatever ur work and title, as long as u are adding value, be proud of it. There is dignity in labour. You will not labour in vain. Be blessed

FAVOUR

“There is no condition from which God cannot lift you from”.

Favour causes people to love us and causes us to be preferred above others. We all need favour to succeed. A businessman, trader, student, husband, wife or pastor needs favour. The measure of success and breakthrough that God’s favour will produce in your life may never be attained by sweat and toil.

“For they did not gain possession of the land by their own nor did their own arm save them, but it was Your right hand, Your arm and d light of Your countenance, because You favoured them”.

Joseph in the Bible, was bought as a slave by a military officer but God gave him so much favour with his master that he was given complete control over his master’s estate. God can lift you up from every situation or condition. I prophesy that today, right now, you will experience God’s favour. You will find favour also in the sight of men. As you go about your activities and routines the favour you much need and desire will come across your way. Where you have experience shame, you will be celebrated.

Step out believing that God’s favour will work for you today and always.

KEYS TO FAVOUR

“Only  the favour from God has positive and lasting impact on our lives”           

Favour is necessary for promotion. Unfortunately, people do all kinds of things to secure favour. Some give bribes, some indulge in sexual sin, others visit spiritualist or seek false gods. It is true that favour is an ingredient necessary for us to succeed. But only the favour from God has positive and lasting impact on our lives.

So lets discuss the “how to have” this favour with God and men.
1) PRAYER: Queen Esther of the Bible prayed and fasted for favour. Then she went into the court of her husband, at an inappropriate time. God moved on her behalf because she prayed. Instead of being killed, the king promised to give her whatever she requested. Prayer is important in seeking favour from God and man. May your prayer yield results as you do the impossible, and dare to challenge status quo. For God will change policies and decrees on your behalf.

2) LIVE RIGHT: We cannot enjoy God’s favour if we cheat, lie, steal and sin to succeed. Rather, those things alienate us from God. The Bible says that God is angry with the sinner every day. Thank God Jesus paid the price thousands of years ago to pave way for the forgiveness of sin. And today, God’s forgiveness and His favour will flow towards you.

You will experience God’s favour in your home, at your office, on d road and among your contemporaries. God will cause His favour to single you out , in Jesus Name.
